Mars Thrust Buster Fire Hydrant Flushing Assembly | 2-1/2″ NPT Hose And Fittings

The Mars Thrust Buster Fire Hydrant Flushing Diffuser is used when flushing and testing fire hydrants. It will reduce the force of the high pressure flowing water and will eliminate the erosion and safety concerns caused by a high pressure water discharge.

The Thrust Buster Fire Hydrant Flushing Diffuser is recommended for all field-testing and water main flushing operations in which unsecured hoses are used to direct water flow. The Thrust Buster will eliminate the danger of a high pressure hose whip due to its heavy weight and baffled outflow ports.

The Thrust Buster Fire Hydrant Flushing Diffuser comes threaded with common 2-1/2″ NPT threads.

One common connection method is to thread a 2-1/2″ Type F male camlock into the Thrust Buster to connect to a female camlock coupler. Alternatively, any 2-1/2″ NPT threaded fitting may be used to achieve your desired connection.
