Double Jacket Fire Hose Assemblies with 2-1/2″ Fire Hydrant ends are built for heavy industrial wash down and fire fighting applications. This is a heavy-duty, all-synthetic hose with a rubber lining for higher pressures and severe applications.
The rubber lining also provides mildew and rot resistance. For applications that involve repeated dragging, a double jacket hose is a much better choice than a single jacket hose. The second jacket serves as a guard to protect the inner layer from abrasion.
These pre-fabricated assemblies come coupled with hard-coat aluminum male and female swivel hydrant fittings for 2-1/2″ hose. Double jacket hose has a working pressure of 300 PSI, and a test pressure of 600 PSI.
Please ensure the hose you are ordering is compatible with the hydrant or standpipe to which the hose will be coupled. Municipalities and fire departments in different regions use different threaded fittings.
